Revoking file or folder access granted via share links

Revoking file or folder access granted via share links

Once access to a file or folder has been granted via a share link, you must revoke access via the same procedure, albeit in reverse.

  • If you are using the OneDrive desktop app (works the same for both Mac and PC), right-click the file or folder for which you want to revoke access and select "Share"

  • If you are using OneDrive online

  • Under "Shared With," click the link icon

  • Click the "X" to remove access granted by the link

  • If you want to remove the entire link (revoking access for all rights granted by the link), click the "..." next to the link

  • And click "X" to remove the link
