Scanning documents with the OneDrive app

Using the OneDrive app to scan documents

The OneDrive app (available for iOS and Android) has a built-in scan feature that allows you to capture single- or multi-page documents and upload them directly to your OneDrive folder, where they are stored in PDF format.
To begin, download and install the OneDrive app from the App Store or Google Play, and sign in using your Sierra Canyon credentials.

  1. Open the OneDrive app
  2. Click “+
  3. Select Capture
  4. Click the shutter button to capture the first page of your document
  5. For single-page documents, skip to step 10. For multi-page documents, continue
  6. Click the “Camera +” button to add more pages
  7. Click the shutter button to capture the next page
  8. Click Scan All to continue scanning more pages.  If you are done, skip to step 10
  9. Continue clicking the shutter button to capture more pages.  The page count tab shows you the number of pages captured so far.
  10. When you are finished scanning, click Review and Edit.  You can change the order of pages, apply filters to make text more readable. Click Finish when done editing.
  11. Name your file and choose a folder location. Click Save when done.
