Scheduling a Zoom meeting for another user

Scheduling a Zoom meeting for another user

The ability to schedule meetings for another user requires a) that you hold a Zoom license, and b) that you have been granted the "Schedule for" privilege. For questions about either, please contact Helpdesk.

To schedule a meeting for another user
  1. Schedule a new meeting in Zoom.
  2. Click the pull-down in the Schedule For section and select the desired user (only those users for whom you have been granted the "schedule for" privilege will appear.
  3. The meeting will appear (with all of the settings you choose) in the user's Zoom Meeting tab.
You can also designate yourself (or any other licensed user) as an alternative host (meaning they can start the meeting on the other user's behalf).

  1. Click Save when done.  The meeting will appear in the other user's Zoom app under Meetings, as well as your own, if you have designated yourself as an alternative host.
